For more than 23 years I've led counseling and wellness work in independent schools, sitting with students, families, and educators through the hardest seasons of growing up. That work taught me how much people can carry, and how much changes when someone helps them make sense of it.
My job is to make a space where you can say what's really going on, without judgment. Clients describe me as calm and direct, serious when it matters and playful when it helps. I believe in speaking truth kindly, and I trust that you know your own life best. I draw on CBT, psychodynamic work, DBT skills, and trauma-informed care, and when faith and meaning matter to you, they're welcome in the room.
Outside the office, I've been married for 32 years, I'm a father to two adult daughters, and I'm a lifelong musician. I play in a band, and I love to cycle and exercise.
